What better way to enhance the beauty of your eyes than with your lashes? And it relies on length and width: the longer and thicker they are, the better.
To boost the lushness of your lashes, there are a few things you can do:
1. A liquid liner in a shade that’s just a smidge darker than your natural lash colour can make the lashline look a little fuller. Dot the liner right where the roots of your lashes are, extending upward just a little at the end (at the outer eye). Complete the look with mascara.
2. For longer lashes, a curler is your best friend. After you apply liner, use gentle pressure to curl your lashes, as close to the base as possible. Don’t squeeze too hard or yank them, because lashes can easily fall out. A tip to boost their shape is to blowdry the curler to warm it right before using. You don’t want to make it too hot, though, since the skin on your eyelids is very delicate and it can burn. Ouch!
3. The right mascara can help. There are so many types of mascara out there these days that it’s just a matter of finding the right one for you. Apply two coats, allowing for the first coat to dry before applying the second one (add more coats if necessary). To prevent a globby mess, make sure you wipe away any blobs from the brush before using.
