A new type of hyaluronic acid (HA) filler from TEOXANE Laboratories, Switzerland, TEOSYAL® Redensity 2 is a cocktail of HA and 14 essential nutrients and amino acids naturally present in the skin. This dermal filler also contains 0.3% lidocaine for a more comfortable patient experience. TEOSYAL® is smooth and malleable, specifically designed to target thin skin, dark circles, and deep hollows underneath the eyes. Many patients choose a Redensity 2 treatment as a comparable alternative to corrective eye surgery. Patients experience natural and reliable results including hydration, brightness and overall rejuvenation that typically last between 9 months and 1 year. Redensity 2 has an impeccable safety record, is FDA and Health Canada approved, and is the premium product for tear trough or under eye injections.
Is the Redensity 2 treatment painful?
TEOSYAL® Redensity 2 is specifically designed to treat thin-skinned areas. As such, this dermal filler has been designed to be effortlessly injected and easily manipulated. In addition to 14 essential nutrients, amino acids and HA, to plump and hydrate the skin, Redensity 2 also contains lidocaine, a numbing agent, for a more comfortable patient experience. Our Injectors will also thoroughly numb your treatment area with a topical numbing cream for optimal comfort.
Redensity 2 Downtime
Recovery time from a Redensity 2 under-eye or tear trough treatment is minimal. Patients may experience subtle bruising and swelling underneath the eyes which may last for up to 2 weeks. Swelling will decrease in the days following your initial treatment with optimal result becoming apparent 2 weeks after treatment. To decrease the possibility of bruising, Skin Vitality Medical Clinic recommends refraining from use of any blood-thinning medications/ supplements or anti-coagulants such as aspirin, vitamin E, alcohol and/or ginseng for 24 to 48 hours prior to your treatment.
How long will the results of a Redensity 2 treatment last?
Redensity 2 results last for between 9 months to 1 year, depending on your metabolism and other external factors. Most patients return for maintenance treatments between 6 to 9 months to sustain optimal results.
Is the Redensity 2 treatment permanent?
No. Redensity 2 is chemically structured to last for 9 months to one year. This dermal filler utilizes hyaluronic acid (HA) as the primary ingredient to increase volume and boost hydration. Since HA is a naturally occurring substance in your body, Redensity 2 is metabolized and broken down over time in the same manner your body metabolizes and breaks down naturally occurring Hyaluronic Acid.
How long does a Redensity 2 treatment take?
The length of time required for a Redensity 2 treatment varies largely depending on the severity of the concern it is being used to address. Typically, 1 to 3 syringes of Redensity 2 are recommended for treatment of the tear troughs or hollowness of the under-eye area. Treatment takes between 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Our team of Medical Professionals will ensure you save on each treatment by offering competitive per-syringe pricing and limited time promotional offers. Skin Vitality Medical Clinic is also thrilled to be able to offer Paybright – a 0% interest financing option for our Patients.
