Sculptra Facial Filler at Skin Viality Medical

Skin Vitality is the #1 Provider of Sculptra in Canada!

A common point of discussion with our patients is how Sculptra differs from other dermal fillers. Rather than providing immediate volume, Sculptra works gradually by stimulating the body’s own collagen. Patients often ask about timing, and improvements typically develop over several weeks. Temporary swelling, redness, or minor bruising are the most commonly observed short-term effects. Treatment plans are tailored to facial structure and desired outcomes, with a series of sessions often recommended.

Sculptra Benefits

FAQ's About Sculptra

Sculptra is an injectable made from poly‑L‑lactic acid (PLLA) that gradually stimulates your own collagen to restore facial volume and improve skin texture, giving a natural result over weeks to months.

It’s commonly used for smile lines, marionette lines, chin wrinkles, and adding volume to hollow cheeks and temples. It’s usually not used in lips or under‑eyes.

Most patients need 2–3 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Results can last around 2 years, with longevity varying by age, metabolism, and lifestyle.

A short-term plumping effect may appear immediately, but true improvement develops gradually over several weeks to months as collagen forms.

Sculptra is Health Canada–approved. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising may occur, but most patients resume normal activities the same or next day.
