The General Procedure

Your Recovery

Your face will be dressed to decrease the recovery time and to reduce swelling. Any clips, stitches or staples that were placed during surgery are typically removed in a few days. As with other cosmetic surgical procedures, a facelift will require you to get plenty of rest and limit your movement to help with recovery. Minor discomfort during your recovery can be effectively treated with prescribed oral medication.
