Walking into the Skin Vitality Clinic in Mississauga was the most reassuring thing I have done in a long time. Anticipating my transformation, I spent endless hours examining myself in the mirror, and being far too critical. Sure, I know I am showing signs of aging, but their staff put all my concerns to rest. I was greeted with big smiles, and are a wealth of information. My husband accompanied me and his input/questions were welcomed and addressed, guiding us through every step of the trial procedures.
Skin Vitality staff took ample time to explain everything through video, and diagrams, how each and every technique will enhance my look. They even pointed out areas that should not be a concern, making me feel confident about all the options we discussed. I know I am in good hands and am excited about my new look.

My transformation has started!! My first visit consisted of a photofacial treatment. The staff was wonderful, explaining everything to me and explained every step of the way. Honestly, I think I could have fallen asleep during the treatment. I feel so relaxed, and my skin is glowing and feels renewed. Already after one treatment.

My second treatment was the chemical peel. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect, but the entire procedure was explained thoroughly, and nothing was left for me to imagine. In addition, I was told what to expect as the days go on. My clinician was bang on with her explanations, and I am on track. Skin Vitality not only makes me feel welcome, and valued, but I am gaining this overwhelming feeling of trust with the Mississauga clinic. Not that I doubted it before, but I have reassured myself that I am in very good hands.

Last week I received another photofacial treatment. The lines and wrinkles are less obvious. Friends and co-workers are now staring at me and asking what is "different." Even my husband says, he can see the difference. I am loving this!!

Last week I had my second medical peel. My skin texture is becoming more consistent. I am usually a combination of oily and dry, and I find my skin is consistent with being soft and much less oily. I also started my skin care kit #3 7 days ago and my skin is appearing more toned and feels very refreshed.

I had the photo facial on the Friday and my skin is so smooth, and radiant.
On the Saturday I returned for my BOTOX injections and Soft lip lift (injections) and I can honestly say the discomfort was minimal and recovery very quick. Here I am 5 days later, and all I can say is WOW!!! I like what I am seeing. Hubby says he can really see the difference and he is so happy for me.

It has been almost 2 weeks since my Fraxel treatment. I look in the mirror and my skin looks softer and the wrinkles are less obvious. I love the compliments. My friends are asking me if I have lost weight. I love it.

I guess you can say a picture is worth a thousand words. What do you see? I know I have rediscovered that inner youth that was struggling to expose itself. Confidence and energy have resurfaced and I am so proud of myself. I no longer hide from the camera, and while performing at my job, charity work, and out on the film sets, a smile is more confident.
Some people might call it vanity, but I enjoy seeing myself in a mirror. I have become more conscious of some make-up application, and I look at clothing racks in a whole new perspective.
To date, I have not received any further treatments, but the option is still there. Family has it's priority and I have promised myself I will continue once the dust settles around the home front. I really miss my photo facials and skin tightening. The treatments are non evasive, relaxing, and immediate results. I highly recommend them!
Overall, I have zero regrets about the transformation. It is a dream come true, and I thank Skin Vitality for sponsoring the contest.
Most of all I thank my hubby "Bill" for reassuring me I deserved this. I admit, I was often asking the question, "Why me?" and he reminded me of who I am. Beautiful skin helped that inner sole that was struggling to get out.
A good skin regimen is good for the inner and outer beauty. It's funny, I am more conscious of nutrition, skin products, and...yes, use that sunscreen!!
